Unfortunately, we do not have a specific date as to when physical classes at AT Dance will resume. AT Dance complies with and agrees to the government’s precautions and will resume classes when stage 3 restrictions are lifted. Let’s stay positive and keep dancing!

When will physical classes resume?

Our policies document, emailed to all parents and available here, has all information regarding what AT Dance staff and students must do to prevent COVID-19 from entering the studio.

What Coronavirus precautions will AT Dance take in physical classes?

None of the classes at AT Dance will exceed the maximum number of students allowed in the studio. For precautions we will be taking in every class, check out our AT Dance COVID-19 Policies document.

What will happen if I/my child is in a larger class in the physical studios?

We are still running online classes via Zoom until face-to-face teaching can recommence. Those wishing to trial a class may do so online, or can wait until physical classes resume. Contact us to book in your free trial class.

I want to trial a class, how can I do so amidst restrictions?

There will be no changes made to the AT Dance timetable at this time, though the timetable is subject to change at any time. Keep an eye on our timetable page for recent updates.

Will there be any changes made to the AT Dance timetable?

Our choreography competition should run shortly after physical classes resume, though this is yet to be confirmed. This year may be a student-only competition that family and friends are unable to attend. This will depend on the restrictions at the time of the competition. Prizes will still be awarded as usual. For more information about our choreography competition, take a look at our choreography competition page.

Is there any news on the upcoming choreography competition?

We are hopeful that our concert will continue as usual, and will occur on the 5th of December at Sandringham Theatre. This is yet to be confirmed, and depending on government instructions this may be a student-only concert filmed for family and friends.

What will happen to the AT Dance end-of year concert?

Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, many Australian dance competitions have been cancelled or postponed. The competitions that the 2020 Highett and Parkdale Troupes were due to perform in have been postponed, and parents have been notified regarding this. We are hoping to compete in the postponed competitions later this year. Please refer to your emails for more information.
